I’m back…and here’s to the 30 Day Shred!

I tried this site before, it was wonderful.  However, I did not keep up with my dieting and such while I was studying for my nursing boards.  I was stressed, and ate.  (…and ate)  ::sigh::

So, here we go again.

On January 6th, I started my weight watchers diet again.  First week I lost 2.2 lbs.  It’s a good start, however, I am slightly ashamed that there wasn’t more that I lost.  Oh well.  In addition to doing WW, I’ve also been doing Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred.  All I can say is wow!  (Jillian, how can one hate and love you at the same time?)  She’s one tough cookie but you get the exercise you are looking for and just when you want to ring her neck she comes back with some smart comment like “you don’t get these abs for free, or…you want to go jean or bathing suit shopping don’t you?”  to make you work even harder.  (Hence the love/hate relationship) Ugh, I hate you!  I really do!

Other than my legs being sore, Level 2 Day 12 didn’t go too bad.  ::sarcasm::

Any other Shredheads out there?  Let me know how you are doing.

Hoping, Waiting, Wishing…

Hoping…that I stay on track.

Waiting…for the pounds to fall off.

Wishing…to be healthy!

…one month, and I’m down 12 pounds.  Not bad!

Here’s to a better life…

As of 6/9/09 I have started my journey towards a better life.  A life full of happiness, and being healthy.  I decided that my journey would be better suited if I followed the Weight Watchers plan because it’ll allow me to modify my eating habits.  Let me tell you, they definately need modification.  I am ashamed of my weight (276) and my size (22/24).  No more!  I am sick of being the “fat friend.”  It’s time to get healthy and to do the things I want to do.  (Ie. A marathon or 2)

Any other WW people out there that have some hints/tips, please please please send them my way.  I really am looking forward to shaving this extra burden off my back.  (No pun intended of course!)
